S.255C –
Benjamin Fine Administration Building, Lakeland, Florida Photographed in February 2010 & October
6, 2012. The college staff was very
generous, allowing me to take pictures inside the Fine Building. In addition to architectural details, there
is original FLW furniture on display.
In 2012, some internal renovations revealed the original Cherokee Red
flooring (see bottom pictures). |
The table and chairs
appear to be from the original library; similar furniture is on display in the
visitors center. The pews are consistent
with the pews in the Danforth
Chapel, although the chapel pews – still in use in the chapel – have plain
red fabric instead of blue patterned.
