S.368 – Karen Johnson & William H. Keland Residence, 1425 Valley View Drive, Racine, Wisconsin This house was designed for William H. Keland and his wife, Karen Johnson. Johnson was the daughter of H.F. Johnson (who commissioned the Johnson Wax Buildings – S.237 & S.238 – and Wingspread – S.239). She kept the house after their divorce, and is often credited as the owner (at least among Johnson Wax/Wingspread docents).
