S.108 – Mary M.W. Adams Residence,
1923 Lake Avenue, Highland Park,
Illinois This house, built in 1905, sits at the
corner of Lake Avenue and Laurel Avenue (the first photo shows the view from
Laurel). It is just a couple doors from
Lake Michigan. Other Wright designs in
Highland Park are the Millard Residence, also on Lake Avenue (S.126), and the Willits
Residence (S.054) and its
adjacent Willits gardener’s cottage (S.055). Photographed on April 26, 2014.
