S.401 – Wyoming Valley Grammar
School, 6306 Route 23, Wyoming Valley,

short distance from the Taliesin complex on State Route 23 just north of
Percussion Rock Road. Route 23 is also
the road to the House on the Rock attraction.
Many buildings in rural Wisconsin lack visible street addresses. Although the building can easily be seen
from the road, it can also be identified by the fire department marker
assigning it an address of 6306. The building has two classrooms and an
assembly room (with audio-visual booth and kitchen). Two cloakrooms have been eliminated to
allow for enlargement of the rest rooms.
Back-to-back fireplaces anchor the school and share the central
chimney. The structure now serves as a
community center and is open to the public during events.
