S.379
– Cedric G. Boulter Residence, 1 Rawson Woods
Circle, Cincinnati, Ohio S.379A
– 1958 addition The
Boulter Residence actually is three projects.
As you view it on the hill from the street below, you can see all three parts
delineated. The original (S.379), constructed in 1954, was comprised of
the main house and a carport. The carport, which is on the right-center
side of the house, is recessed. In 1958 an addition was created on the
far right of the structure - the blank wall with the air conditioning unit
seen in the bottom of the 1997 photos. In 1990 the carport was “filled
in,” and converted to a corridor and children’s playroom. This work is
visible in the driveway views from 2010. Thus, you have the original
1954 structure numbered as S.379, the 1954 addition as S.379A, and the
conversion of the carport to living space as an unnumbered project in 1990. Photographed
in 1997 during some repair work, on May 2, 2010 just as the skies were
opening up to drench the area, and on May 11, 2013 (another overcast day). Opus: T5403 |
