S.359 – Clifton & George Lewis Residence (“Spring House”), 3117 Okeeheepkee Road, Tallahassee, Florida Official website Nestled just north of I-10 and east of US-27 is a wooded area with an eclectic mix of mobile homes and more permanent structures. Hidden in the trees is the Lewis Residence. When I visited, I saw that part of the house was covered in a tarp. Both ends of the circular dirt driveway were posted against trespassing, and there was a truck close to the road that appeared inoperable. You can’t see a darn thing. Here are several jungle shots to prove it. In 2012/2013 an effort was undertaken by several Florida universities to clean and preserve the downtrodden property.
