S.302 – Herman T. Mossberg Residence, 1404 Ridgedale Road, South Bend, Indiana Herman Mossberg moved from Chicago to South Bend, and contacted Wright to commission a design because he had been so impressed with the Robie house while studying at the University of Chicago. The residence is located on the corner of York Road, allowing views from at least two sides. In addition, you can see part of the house through heavy foliage from behind, on Garland Circle.
