Notes about the Southern California properties This textile block structure is at the
opposite end of Hollywood Boulevard from Hollyhock House, and the point where
the boulevard ceases being a straight road through the famous areas of
Hollywood and instead becomes a dangerously narrow winding road in the Laurel
Canyon region. As with the other Southern California
properties, the house sits very close to the road. Also in common with other SoCal residences, the use of privacy walls and foliage
preclude an observer from standing in front of an adjacent home and seeing a
good side view of this structure. Photographed on January 27, 2015.

The Imagineers at California Adventure designed a lavatory
entrance as an homage to the Storer Residence.
