S.194 – Imperial Hotel, Tokyo, Japan The Imperial Hotel chair is one of at least three Wright chairs in the Vitra Design Museum in Germany. This chair was photographed on June 8, 2012, when an exhibition of 100 chairs from the Vitra collection was shown at the Tampa Museum of Art in Florida (exhibition dates: May 19 – September 16, 2012). The exhibit also featured a chair from the Larkin Company Administration Building (S.093). The Imperial Hotel withstood the 1923 earthquake, but was demolished in 1968.
