S.118 – Frederick D. Nichols Residence,

This house started life as a dark brown board-and-batten weekend cottage in 1906. Substantial renovations and additions over the years have disguised these humble origins.

Flossmoor is just south of Chicago, southeast of the I-57/I-80 interchange. Photographed on August 10, 2014.
