S.074 – Arthur Heurtley
Residence, 318 Forest Avenue, Oak Park,
Illinois This is another of the houses on
Wright’s home street, Forest Avenue.
This red brick home looks great and is easy to photograph from the
sidewalk. Heurtley
commissioned this house and remodeling of his cottage in northern Michigan
(S.075). The house was sold in 1920 to
Wright’s brother-in-law, Andrew T. Porter. Photographed in August 2008 and on
